Eoin May Reviews: Tisas A1 1911 Pistol
Love 1911-style handguns but hate the price?
After 121 years, one could say that the 1911 platform has been well-proven. Rock-solid and accurate, the 1911’s storied reliability is matched only by its storied price … usually at least 50% higher than a comparably sized striker-fired concealed-carry piece. Inflation and consumer demand haven’t helped lower that price tag, either, and Eoin May‘s feeling the crunch just like the rest of us. That is, until he learned about Tisas, which is manufacturing an A1 1911 that can be had for $439 MSRP (which means you can probably find it under $400 at a dealer). So how does this budget 1911 perform on the range? Eoin’s going over it from A to Z!
