Eoin May asks: How much handgun can you get for under $400?
The good news is that, in November 2022, it’s now possible to find guns available for purchase on the shelves. The bad news is that, in November 2022, the money you had saved to buy a gun now buys much, much less. (Let’s Go, Brandon!) All that said, the “pretty good” news is that there are quality handguns out there that you can have for under $400 … and that would have been a good price back in November 2020. Today, Eoin May covers the SAR 9X, an EDC-ready pistol that comes with lots of goodies and a very nice action. Are you sacrificing a bit of ergonomics on the trigger? Yes, but as you’ll see in this AToZ_Reviews video, the SAR 9X is quite a lot of gun for the money.
How the hell can you blame President Biden for the price of guns? Why not place the blame where it belongs, the greedy gun shop owners. Every gun I bought in the last four years cost me twice what the shop paid for them. Same with Ammo. And for a good part of that time Trump was president. I didn’t see any big gun sales while the draft dodger in command was president .
It was the same, more than 40 years ago. Buy and sell at the gun shop is about 2 for 1. Even the 60’s didn’t change that. Part of the value added is keeping a shop open and stocked that isn’t selling milk and eggs.
BS comments like “let’s go Brandon “ have no place in a business environment or sales attempt. You have alienated some of your customer base.
And SAR is not the only one. Ive got a Tisas that is every bit as good as my Springfield which it copies. It is just as accurate, shoots everything I have put through it, and cost me hundreds less.
I’m all for American made as long as it is competitive. This kind of thing got a Honda in my driveway.
