Langdon Tactical Channels THE GHOST: Stainless Beretta 92 Returns!

You don’t want to be on the wrong end of that ectoplasm.
It was a dark and stormy night when the engineers at Langdon Tactical Technology and Field Ethos sat around the table, candles lit and hands held, to summon a self-defense spirit …
For a brief time several years ago, shooters could purchase an all-steel version of the Beretta 92. Since discontinued, the all-inox Berettas have become highly sought-after and tough to find. They quickly earned the name “ghost 92” due to that difficulty. But a talented medium and even more talented engineers have revived the GHOST 92, and they’re now available for purchase!
What’s coolest about the GHOST is that it’s the GHOST of the past, present, and future. (Ebenezer Scrooge declined to comment.) Langdon Tactical Technology (LTT) has long been known for its best-in-class custom gunsmithing, and that’s what you can expect with the new GHOST. Of course, it comes with an LTT Trigger Job, and of course it has the optimized performance trigger bar. A Cerakoted stainless-steel frame and slide terminate in a cut-and-crown stainless ported barrel.
Naturally, the sighting system is everything you’d expect from LTT, including the 92 RDO Solution. Introduced in 2020, LTT’s 92 RDO solution includes a full redesign of the internal components of the 92/96 series pistol in order to properly low-mount the optic. With a dot height of just .85 above the centerline of the bore (with a Trijicon RMR), it is one of the lowest mounting systems for any pistol and THE lowest for the 92 series of pistols.
This allows the shooter a natural point of aim, a more secure mounted plate and optic, and a lighter operating system for the gun as it cycles. LTT’s proprietary plate sits farther back on the slide when compared to other 92 RDO solutions on the market, allowing for optics like the Trijicon SRO and RMR HD to NOT hang over the breach face and interfere with the ejection pattern of brass. Further, the lower, lighter plate is more secure with three mounting screws and proper thread engagement.
With so much focus on the sighting system, it’s not a surprise that the GHOST 92 comes with a red-dot optic plate with your choice of footprints (RMR + BUIS; ACRO + BUIS (Rear Sight Forward ONLY); 509T + BUIS; or EPS + BUIS). And just for extra flair, it wears custom Field Ethos Medallion Grips (in partnership with VZ Grips).
The lead time from order to shipment is 4-8 weeks, and the MSRP is $1,849. Click here for more!
