West Virginia Knife Laws
West Virginia makes age the line rather than length. Under 21 you may not carry a concealed deadly weapon, and three and a half inches is the figure that applies to a dagger, dirk, poniard, stiletto or pocketknife. At 21 and over there is no concealment limit beyond place rules. Automatic knives are legal from 21. Preemption arrived on 31 May 2020, though city ordinances are still common on the ground, so check anyway.
