SIG TIPS from the UnPewFessional: Back Plate Removal & Installation

Want to DIY Your SIG the UnPewFessional Way?

Believe it or not, you don’t have to be a gunsmith to both remove and reinstall an Sig Sauer P-365 back plate. It should seem simple enough, but Sig Sauer uses a locking tab on the striker sleeve that locks the back plate in place. Fools! You cannot defeat the UnPewFessional. In less than a couple minutes I will make you an expert on how to remove and reinstall that backplate with ease.

Tools

1. Small Flat Head or pry tool

2. Homemade Striker sleeve pusher tool (we show you how to make)

3. A Vice to help hold everything
